Welcome to CleanLab. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services

CleanLab offers pickup and delivery laundry services and other cleaning services within the Amsterdam service area. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate our services at any time.

2. Appointments & Cancellations

You can schedule your pickup via our website. Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 12 hours in advance. Late cancellations may incur a fee.

3. Subscriptions

Customers can choose between one-time services or weekly/monthly subscriptions. Subscriptions can be paused or cancelled in your personal CleanLab account area. Cancellations must be made at least 5 days before the next scheduled pickup.

4. Laundry & Liability

We handle your laundry with the utmost care. However, CleanLab is not liable for damages resulting from:

  • Pre-existing damage or wear
  • Items without clear washing instructions
  • Color bleeding or shrinkage from mixed loads Our liability is in any case limited to three times the cleaning cost of the affected item.

5. Payment

All payments are processed through our secure payment system. For subscriptions, the amount is automatically charged. Invoices are available in your personal account.

6. Undeliverable Orders

If we are unable to deliver the laundry at the specified time and address, we will contact you to reschedule. Additional delivery charges may apply.

7. Complaints & Refunds

Complaints must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. If justified, CleanLab will offer an appropriate solution, such as reprocessing or a (partial) refund.

8. Delicate Items

Your wardrobe is precious, and we take each item seriously. Our team checks every piece and washes it according to the label instructions. That said, if you include delicate or high-sentimental-value items, we kindly ask you to inform our driver or notify our service team via WhatsApp. While our experts handle delicates with care every day, this is still a human-operated service — and real humans can make mistakes. By working together, we ensure the best possible results.

9. Damages to Goods

Our team has decades of experience with laundry and delicate textiles, but we’re still human. In the rare case that damage occurs, clients are required to:

  • Report the issue within 24 hours of delivery
  • Provide clear photo evidence
  • Allow CleanLab the opportunity to reprocess or repair the item

If repair is not feasible or unsatisfactory, financial compensation may be considered — but only upon receipt of a valid proof of purchase. Compensation will be based on the current value (day value) of the item, following guidelines from the Dutch consumer institute Consumentenbond:

  • < 1 year old → 80% of purchase price
  • 1–2 years → 60%
  • 2–3 years → 30%
  • 3–5 years → 25%

10. Privacy

We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at: www.yourcleanlab.com/privacy.

11. Changes to Terms

CleanLab reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. You will be notified of significant changes by email or via our website.
